Welcome
I'm one of those people who just can't sit still.
My kids are grown (one graduating from college, two on their way to college) and it won't be long be hubby and I are, "empty nesters." I've been making collectible teddy bears for over nine years now and still love it, but bear making is pretty hard on hands so now it's time to work on some of the other things I love.
I've always been a paper pack rat and felt like I'd stepped into paradise the first time I walked into a scrapbook store. Sometimes a piece of paper seems just to pretty to cut, I find myself wanting to just save it, but since no house is big enough for all the paper I'd like to own, it's time to get to work.
I'll hope you'll stop back soon to see what I have in the making.

Well, I'm trying to tackle my basement. It's jammed packed with my pack rat stuff and it's time to get it under control. Wow, do I have a lot of stuff. So many ideas for so many things that never happened. Besides making bears, I love cross stitch, painting, paper, knitting, crochet and judging from the stuff in my basement just about any other craft or hobby that I came across over the last 15 or 16 years. Looks like I'm moving. Can you relate. Sometimes I'm sure I have more yarn and fabric then the stores. Time for a change, so I'll be back down there today doing my best to give it away or just plain old get rid of what I haven't used in years. With three grown children I should be looking at more space, not less.
Did manage to finish a sweet cub yesterday. I named her Corrie and love the color of her fur. It's a yummy pale vanilla. I'll get back to scrap booking this weekend. If I don't get lost in the basement.
Have a great weekend.

Just finished up a sweet baby boy album and enjoying some great weather at Chicago's Botanical Gardens
Hope everyone had a good 4th.

Just finished a happy "Swim" page set. Makes me think of Summer days at my Grandma's by the pool.

Just finished another sweet pink baby girl acrylic album. I just love working on these. Maybe it's the pink or the great acrylic sheets. No, I think it must be those sweet baby sentiments. Ok so I think I've gone a little crazy with the cute paper flowers, but their hard to resist. Love the tiny frame and little glass bottle filled with tiny silver stars. Hope it holds some precious baby girl pictures and memories soon.

You know the saying, "time flies." All three of our children graduate this year and I'm going through a bit of mommy shock. Grown so fast, wasn't it just yesterday they started school? Sure seems like it when I think about it. Better get scrapbooking. Those tiny memories you think you'll never forget seem to vanish as quickly as the days and months do. Enough reminising and mommy thinking (makes me a little teary eyed).
I finished a new travel/vacation album this week and love the way it turned out. I think it would be a great gift for someone going on that dream vacation.
